The hygiene & beauty industry is a total ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ. Why?
It's largely unregulated & we are the cows.

โฃJohnson & Johnson promoted using their baby powder since the early 1900's. We were putting it on babies genitals. Then for years they wanted women to believe they could be "fresh down there" by using it on their own. โฃ
And so we did.
Johnson & Johnson KNEW that the ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐๐ช๐ข ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐๐ง was linked to ๐ค๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง. โฃ
โฃTHOUSANDS of women died from using this product, which JnJ adamantly, denied. โฃ
It was investigated in a massive class action lawsuit, they were not only found GUILTY, but that they also KNEW ABOUT IT.โฃ
โฃFACT: Talc contains both ๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐ก๐๐ & ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ข๐ฆ. Both known carcinogens. โฃ
โฃWhat else contains TALC? Liquid makeup, loose powders like eyeshadow, blush, face & body powders. โฃBack to ole Procter & Gamble who manufacturers "Secret". โฃHeres what they RECENTLY were busted for:
They settled in 2022 for including "benzene" in their personal care products, a known carcinogen. โฃ
โฃIn late 2023 they were slapped with a class action lawsuit for misrepresenting NyQuil and DayQuil as containing honey, despite it not having any. They flat out ๐๐๐๐ฟ about their ingredients.โฃ
Now, here's PnG folks, playing on young women's "stink" insecurities. I guess they think we live in the dark ages and showering is hard to come by.
โฃThey are selling you that if you use their product not just on your pits, but EVERYWHERE, you'll feel more confident. โฃ
โฃAnd, they are validating this with "four out of five gynecologists recommendation". โฃ

WHO EXACTLY are these gynos anyway? DO THEY get funding from PnG? Can I hold them personally liable for their statement should something happen to me??โฃ

Specifically, Secret Deodorant contains Butane, a chemical linked to allergies, immunotoxicity, and organ system toxicity, and 18% Aluminum Chlorohydrate, which is linked to developmental and reproductive toxicity and neurotoxicity. The product also contains Dimethicone, a silicone emollient, which coats the skin not allowing toxins out. It may promote tumors and accumulate in the liver and lymph nodes.โฃ.
